About

The history of Islamic culture and the general human experience have taught us that the necessary cultural and social foundations for the prosperity of the society must first established. The very first step in this direction is to provide public education for every individual of the society and enhance the level of higher education in order to develop a greater intellectual elite. Unfortunately, the present state of human society in general, is such that not everybody enjoys the opportunity to acquire such education. There are numerous people in the lower social classes who, despite their great talents and capabilities bestowed upon them by almighty God and due to the hardships and deprivations that life has imposed on them, are deprived of the opportunity to properly develop and demonstrate their God-given potentials. Motivation The main objective of the “Beh-Afarin-e Farda” institute is to identify the highly talented and capable individuals of the Low-income and deprived strata of the society and assist them to develop their capabilities through resolving their cultural, social and even family problems; and thus create the best possible future for this section of the Islamic society of Iran. Although solving financial problems of the Low-income and povetry-stricken families is by itself a meritorious and virtous act, researchers have shown that generally these families, after receiving financial aids, either do not use them in proper manner or become dependent on them. Therefore, they lose their incentive to become self-sufficient an financially independent. On this basis, the goal of the founders of this institute is to develop the talents and potentials of the talented poor students, offer various means for self-sufficiency and self-employment for the families of the member students, and guide them towards financial independence and non-reliance upon the aids provided by this institute. Goals 1- To promote the cultural and social level of the families of the member students through cultural, social and hygienic education, as well as offering social services. 2- To promote scientific and cultural level of the member students through offering educational courses, scientific field trips, consultation and providing the necessary scientific materials. 3- To provide educational expenses of the member students such as tuition, textbooks, stationary, transportations, educational books, etc... . 4- To resolve financial problems of the families of the member students through educational them and preparing the grounds for self-employment of their mothers and finding jobs for their fathers. 5- To offer medical assistance for the families of the member students. 6- To solve economic problems of the families of the member students through financial support and supervising and offering advice for its use. (For example, granting a loan and supervising the process of its utilization.) Qualification for membership Membership in the Beh Afarine-Farda institute exclusively belongs to female students of Junior High Schools and High Schools. Their grade point average must be 17 (from 20) or up, and they should pass an interview. Financial situation of the students’ families is investigated and approved by a team of experts. It should be mentioned that priority is given to orphans and children with single-parent. Candidates for membership are either introduced by their own families through direct contact with the institute, or indirectly through schools’ administrations and the ministry of education departments. After completing their high school education and passing the entrance exam of the university, financial support of the institute will be offered to the member students. When gaduated from the university, member students who are willing could cooperate with the institute to promote and expand the scope of the activities of this institute. Hoping to achieve the above mentioed goals, this institute has officially begun its activities since 1999.
